I will be disappearing for a while. I leave at 04:00 tomorrow morning for St. George Island, Florida. I will be “suffering” for Jesus, leading a men’s saltwater fishing retreat with my church. I will be returning on Saturday, loading up my family’s van, then heading out again on Sunday (after Easter services) to enjoy a week of vacation at the beach with my family.
So … about this time on Wednesday … this is the only view that you will have of me:
I’ll check in at the Eastpoint, FL, public library whenever I can. Meanwhile, try to have a little fun while I’m gone.

I got to your blog site via that of Marty Duren’s. I saw where you left a comment re what he said about working with Maasai in Kenya. Yep, he worked with me in 1995. He worked in a different place. Thanks, guys. I’m home for about 12 more hours. Leaving out with the family on vacation this afternoon. Had an awesome three days with eight awesome men from Crossroads. And, to top it all off, I caught a 43-inch, 32-lb redfish (Red Drum) on Wednesday. Biggest I have ever seen. I’ll post a picture as soon as I can.
